Genetic Saddles have lots of slender dry fly feathers as well as a section of softer webby feathers. The hackle is great for creating distinct lateral lines on pike and saltwater fly patterns and can be used as a dry fly wing on traditional hackled flies. The softer webby feathers can be utilized to create soft hackle collars, beards, throats, matuka wings and tails.
